If you love a tasty breakfast, be sure to try Peach Valley Café. The menu selection is perfect for the breakfast connoisseur, with items ranging from omelets, Benedicts, sandwiches and French toast.
Before you try to sift through all of Daytona’s restaurants, in search of that perfect dinner spot, head over to the Riverfront Shops of Daytona Beach and try one of the city’s downtown restaurants. With the number of options and the variety of cuisine, the Riverfront is sure to have a restaurant for everyone. There are also plenty of restaurants near the Speedway, as well, for those coming and going to races.

The Riverfront Shops of Daytona Beach offer shopping at its finest, and dining at its “most delicious.” Restaurants like the Cellar Restaurant, Don Vito’s Italian Restaurant, and the Original Stavro’s Pizza House all offer diners an Italian menu, with causal and more formal dining. For a fresher, more eclectic meal, try the Mediterranean Experience or the Dancing Avocado Kitchen.

If you like sushi, check out the Ronin Sushi & Sake Bar, Siam Spice Thai Restaurant or the Namo Sushi Bistro, serving up Oriental flavors and fresh sushi. For fresh tacos, check out Tia Cori’s Tacos, and for more seafood, check out the Bay Street Seafood Market.

If you’re heading to or from the Daytona International Speedway, there are plenty of familiar restaurants at which to stop. Ruby Tuesdays, Uno’s Chicago Bar & Grill, Olive Garden, Hooters and Friendly’s Restaurant are all walking distance from the Speedway. The further away from the Speedway you get, the more options become available. Outback Steakhouse, Chick-Fil-A, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and Subway are all a little closer to a mile away.

The Main Events

The Daytona 500
Each year, people flock to Daytona Beach to experience one of the biggest NASCAR races in the country – possibly the world. The 500-mile race is the opening race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, and is held each year at the Daytona International Speedway. If you are lucky enough to have a ticket to this big event, let Atlantic Terrace and Tropic Sun Towers make your stay comfortable! Only eight to 12 miles from the speedway, the resorts are in a prime location for a short commute or taxi ride. The Speedway also hosts the Rolex 24, Budweiser Speedweeks and many other events.
Florida is a mecca for marathons, thanks to the level terrain and spectacular ocean views. Most nearby races occur in Daytona Beach, but Ormond and its surrounding cities have a few events of their own.

In Daytona, you will also find the Riverfront Shops of Daytona Beach. Featuring shopping at its finest, and dining at its “most delicious,” the Riverfront Shops offer visitors a shopping experience along the water. Shoppers will find that art galleries, antique and book stores, and specialty stores are plentiful along the waterfront. When you are finished shopping, or need a break, relax at one of many the riverfront restaurants along the strip.

Another fun shopping destination, only about four miles from the resort, is the colorful Ocean Walk Shoppes & Movies in Daytona. This multi-level shopping plaza features restaurants, specialty stores and a first-class movie theater, playing the most current films.
