Things to do - general

The Greater Fort Lauderdale area includes eight beaches that expand up to twenty-three miles. Hollywood Beach is home to Hollywood Beach Tower resort, located along the Hollywood Broadwalk. Pompano Beach is home to La Costa Beach Club which has it’s own private beach. Both of these resorts are within minutes of all the attractions that Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding area has to offer.

Hollywood, Florida

Hollywood, FL is one of the many oceanfront towns on the way down the Florida east coast, but what makes it different is its affinity for art, culture and its accessibility to family-friendly outdoor activities. If not sun bathing on the beach or fishing in the surf, visitors will find an array of other ways to spend their sunny days, including biking, running, walking or rollerblading on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk.

Visitors may also enjoy the 10-acre ArtsPark at Young Circle, which is perfect for walking, jogging, or bringing the kids to the children’s play area. The park hosts festivals and events throughout the year, and it is not uncommon to see people enjoying the beautiful grassy lawn on blankets and chairs.

Located less than two and a half miles from the ArtsPark, and mere feet from the Broadwalk, Hollywood Beach Tower stands tall. From the resort, guests can people-watch or simply view the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. If it’s raining, or visitors have done all there is to do outside, there are plenty of shopping, dining and cinematic opportunities not far from the resort. From city to the shore, Hollywood Beach Tower Resort has you covered.

Pompano Beach, Florida

Just less than 12 miles north of Ft. Lauderdale, FL is Pompano Beach – home to La Costa Beach Club, a tropical vacation property sitting right on the sandy shores of the Atlantic. Surrounding guests with palm trees, greenery and tropical flowers, La Costa Beach Club is a prime destination for a perfect beach escape. Only minutes from shopping, dining and an array of fun attractions, La Costa Beach Club offers guests a sunny, relaxing vacation that can’t be beat!

Pompano Beach is a one-stop destination for warm weather, outdoor activities, watersports and a calming getaway. Guests of La Costa Beach Club have access to the city’s best attractions – miles of beaches, fishing in the turquoise waters, boating in the Intracoastal Waterway, exploring the Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse, diving and snorkeling on a living coral reef, fun for kids and much more!
