Watersports in Indian Harbour Beach offer an excellent way to stay cool on a sunny summer day. In addition to Jet Ski and boat rentals, Indian Harbour Beach features kayaking and surfing on the coast and air boat rides about 15 miles inland on the St. Johns River. For land activities, vacationers will enjoy hiking in the many community parks and nature reserves in the area, as well as horseback riding, zip-lining, fishing, and bird watching! Bike riding is also a popular activity as there are miles of beach to cover.
Indian Harbour Beach is part of what is known as the Space Coast, an area near the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral. A drive to the center would take approximately half an hour from Oceanique Resort; however, the drive is well worth it. Blast into outer space with the Shuttle Launch Experience, or have lunch with an actual astronaut! Learn what life would be like in a space shuttle, and tour the Space Center. This is an out-of-this-world experience that you won’t want to miss when visiting the Space Coast!
When it comes to dining diversity, Indian Harbour Beach is on point! Featuring numerous restaurants, ranging from finger foods to gourmet, casual to dress-up, bars to fine dining – Indian Harbour Beach offers something for even the pickiest eaters.
Less than a mile from Oceanique Resort is the Rum Island Grill offering a casual dining experience with fine dining options and live entertainment on weekends in a tropical atmosphere. Their chef prepares seafood dishes, a variety of meats, homemade desserts, vegetarian dishes and dishes for children. The Rum Island Grill has two bars where you can relax, enjoy a drink, watch a game and/or socialize with friends and family.
Another more family-friendly dining option is the Hula Moon Tiki Grill, located at 1900 Florida A1A, less than three miles from the resort. Hula Moon offers Polynesian-influenced American dining, and includes items such as sandwiches, tacos, and bowls (chicken, beef, pork and tuna). More traditional selections include pastas, fried seafood, salads, and burgers – and don’t miss the children’s menu! Hula Moon also features a full bar.
