Dine Like a Cape Cod Local

If you’re dining out in Cape Cod you probably would not want to pass up an opportunity at some of the freshest and finest seafood in the country. If you aren’t a fan of seafood; however,  there are plenty of other options to choose from.

Breakfast/Lunch
To start your day off, check out the Route 28 diner in South Yarmouth. It’s small and family-owned and operated, but you’ll find a breakfast there that just can’t be beat. The staff is friendly and unforgettable. While the menu is quite affordable, be sure to bring cash, as credit cards are not accepted.

Another nearby breakfast stop is The Pancake Man, also located in South Yarmouth since 1961. Serving breakfast and lunch, this restaurant is more of a traditional pancake house and very family-friendly. Offering an extensive menu with specialty items like Breakfast Nachos and Belgian Sugar Waffles, The Pancake Man is a winning way to start your day.

If you’d like to start your day off with a more eclectic meal, visit the Keltic Kitchen. Fashioned after an Irish cottage, this restaurant offers an authentic Irish spin to many of its menu dishes, among the more familiar dishes of eggs and pancakes. The Keltic Kitchen is three miles from the Ocean Club, and don’t forget to check out the Irish store located on the restaurant’s property.

Lunch/Dinner
If juicy, decadent lobster is calling your name, there are several dining options for you near the Ocean Club. The Riverway Lobster House is a must-stop for seafood lovers craving some fresh lobster. Of course, lobster is not the only item on the menu, but if it’s what you are in search of – you will hit the jackpot here.

More lobster and other seafood can be found at The Skipper Restaurant & Chowder House, less than a mile from the Ocean Club.
